Strength Damage Resistance (SDR) Damage Rules Intro ----- The basic idea is that characters get additional DR and HT based on their ST. The new DR are only useful to a certain degree. I think this is useful for GURPS Supers Campaign, where characters tend to have a very high ST and moderate to high HT. But they also should work in "normal" Campaigns, nothing really changes here. Calculating SDR --------------- Basic SDR (BSDR): * Zero for each point below 21 * Three for each point between 21 and 50 * Two for each point between 51 and 80 * One for each point between 81 and 100 * 1/2 for each point after 100. Fractions will be rounded down A character with ST 55 gets 90{30*3} + 10 {5*2} = 100 BSDR A character with ST 280 gets 90 + 60 + 20 + 90 , giving him 260 SDR. The final SDR are BSDR divided by 10. So a character with BSDR 100 has SDR 10 Using SDR --------- (All fractions will be rounded down here) SDR work like normal DR, except if a character gets more than BSDR/2 damage (before applying the blow through rules) the SDR are useless. Also, a character gets SDR/2 Extra Hit Points. The SDR rules should not be mixed Stun damage rules and/or Damage Divider Rules.
