First, we should give a short description:
- Description:
- The Foobars are an example race, that only life to show readers
how to design a race.
The second step is the determination of Attributes. Since Foobars are a little
more intelligent than Humans, they have an INT of 35, but their CON is only
10, because they never live long. We only give the attributes, that are different
from the average of 30. The cost a are 5 for INT minus 20 for CON, so
the cost for
a=5-20=-15
- Attributes:
- INT 35, CON 20
The next step are the skills: Foobars only have Computer skills, which are Computer
Programming and Computer Operation.
- Computer Operation: We assume a number of increases of (3) for this skill. So
the cost of s1 are 1 (LP) + 3(see above)
1(In of skill)=4
- Computer Programming: We assume a number of increases of (2) for this skill.
So the cost s2 are 3 (LP) +2
1=5
The total cost for skills are
s=s1+s2=9. So we can now fill in
the skill category:
- Skills:
- Computer Operation(3), Computer Programming(2)
We do not give these poor creatures any traits or powers.
- Traits:
- none (t=0)
- Powers:
- none (p=0)
The last step is the calculation of the cost. The CP costs are
a+s+p-t=-15+9+0+0.
- Costs:
- -6
